Founded in 1990, our family-run small business has gained a wealth of experience working for businesses, large and small, and for private individuals. We specialise in work for European Patent Attorneys, so we have considerable expertise in legal and technical texts.

Unlike many large agencies, our aim is to offer a highly personal service, readily adapted to the precise requirements of our clients. Our offices are contained within our family home in the rural location of Burrough on the Hill. This arrangement means that our operations are not restricted to normal office hours, and we are often prepared to work in the evenings and at weekends. Consequently, we can often cope with tight deadlines that would be impossible to meet if restricted to a 9 to 5 working day.

Quality is of utmost importance, and so we will never take on work if we are not certain that we will be able to complete it on time, or if it falls outside of our areas of expertise. We have deliberately kept our business small so that we can operate a strict quality-control policy. We do not farm out work to free-lancers who have no knowledge of your business and your particular requirements. Emma will always liaise closely with the client to ensure that we have a good understanding of the subject matter of the documents in question and of your linguistic and stylistic requirements.

In order to maintain the highest standards, we generally only translate from French and German into English. However, we have close links with experienced native speaker translators of French and German, and so can generally recommend experts who will translate into these languages.
